Why the site looks “done” but Google ignores it

You often get one generic homepage, marketing fluff nobody searches for, no clear service or area pages, and contact details buried at the bottom.

Google compares your site to your Business Profile and to competitors with specific pages for “plumber Warrington”, “joiner near me”, and similar queries. A brochure loses.

When to rebuild vs patch

Short answer: Light fixes work if URLs, speed, and structure are salvageable. If the builder traps you in thin one-pagers, rebuilding into a conversion site is usually cheaper than years of band-aids.
