Local SEO in Kent
I am based in Warrington but deliver the same site + SEO package for owner run businesses in Kent. Published work: Sherwood Roofing & Construction (West Malling / Offham, ME19).
How customers search in West Kent
Short answer: Mix of urgent mobile searches (leaks, storm damage) and planned quotes (re roof, flat roof, extensions). Town names matter: Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, West Malling.
Roofing and exterior trades see the same pattern as Cheshire: map pack first on emergencies, town + service on planned work.
Google expects honest service areas and pages that match real coverage, not copy paste doorway pages for every village.
Published Kent client: Sherwood Roofing
Short answer: Next.js conversion site with service hubs, service×town pages, and roofer area pages across west Kent. Revenue figures TBC as rankings build.

Sector guide: local SEO for roofers. Town focus: West Malling & ME19.
Areas we cover on Kent sites
Short answer: Typical west Kent patches include West Malling, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill, Snodland, Aylesford and Offham. Pages should reflect towns you actually visit, with photos and proof when you have them.
Sherwood’s site uses service hubs (re-roofing, repairs, flat roofing) plus roofer town pages rather than one generic roofing homepage.
If you are outside Kent but want the same architecture, book an audit and we will map searches to pages honestly.
Working remotely on Kent SEO
Short answer: Kickoff on video, Search Console and Business Profile access, and monthly reporting. Site builds do not require me on site every week.
Same package as Warrington clients: services, pricing, and free audit first.

Quick answers.
Do you need to be based in Kent?
No. Local SEO is delivered with data, site access, and clear communication. Sherwood is a live example of a Kent build managed from Warrington.
Is Kent only for roofers?
Roofing is the published niche so far. The same framework fits other owner run trades when urgent and town + service searches drive the phone.
